Firefighter suit plays an important role in firefighting activities, it protects firefighters to save more people. Such kind of clothing must be made of high quality flame-retardant fabric, designed with scientific ideas, equipped with powerful performance.
What is the Most Important Matter of Firefighter Suits?
The most important matter of Firefighter Suits must be the materials of it which lay a solid foundation for firefighting uniforms. There are many types of materials.
Aramid material is a kind of synthetic fibre with a high temperature resistance, which can tolerate high temperatures up to 500 ℃. At this temperature, it will not melt or burn rapidly like ordinary fibers, but can maintain certain physical properties and form a carbonized layer to isolate heat. Even if the outer layer of aramid fiber is carbonized, the internal fiber structure can still maintain a certain strength, preventing flames from directly penetrating the clothing and contacting the skin.
Flame retardant cotton is another important material which accepts special flame retardant treatment by adding flame retardant.-some chemical substances that can absorb a large amount of heat, thereby reducing the surface temperature of the clothes, slowing down the combustion rate, and forming a layer of charcoal to isolate hot air and oxygen, preventing the spread of flames.

Coating material is a continuous protective film on the surface of the suits, with coating molecules tightly arranged to form a structure similar to a "barrier". Water molecules cannot penetrate this barrier because of surface tension and other reasons, thus achieving waterproof function. In addition, it can also prevent direct contact between oil or dirt and fabric fibers.
